A PW Series course
This course is part of our PW Series, and is what we consider entry-level affordable training. PW simply stands for pre-recorded webinar. Transparency is an important part of our business values, hence why we call it out. Please know what you're getting by reading or clicking the link here.
Why quoting may be killing your business and how to fix it PW Series - 90 minutes of juicy content
The heading of this course may sound alarmist but we can assure you it is unfortunately very true! We've left the why video open to preview so you get a feel of just how much you really need this session! This webinar was part of our NSW Small Business Month offering in October 2020.
Here at FAQ Business Training, we are extremely passionate about small business owners not ripping themselves off! Undercharging and poor quoting practices are well up there in doing just that! By learning from us, we intend to teach you enough to do it yourself (DIY) or outsource with confidence.
Please watch the 2 preview videos before buying
Please preview the videos available and hopefully that will make it clear why this course is so important, but also our Founder Jane Tweedy's presentation style. Although most people love Jane's tell it like it is approach and vast quantities of information she will pass on, some will not. And you know what - that's perfectly okay. So please only buy after you've watched the two videos mentioned above.
What do you get?
- 90 minutes of great content (minimal introductory and what to do next talk!)
- a copy of the slide pack
- access as long as the course stays live (you would be given 3 months notice before we removed a course)
Payment options
Australian? Please choose the Australian pricing option so we can manually calculate and remit GST on course sales. This means you can also claim the GST. The receipt contains the total amount GST inclusive and refers to the GST calculation.
Any other country? Please choose the USD option. Australian GST is not collected on this. Teachable is our platform and payment gateway provider and they will sort out taxation for EU buyers etc.
Your Instructor
Jane started FAQ Business Training because she was sick of hearing stories of small business owners being ripped off and taken advantage of, because of what they didn't know they didn't know. We provide real world solutions to real world problems.
The mission of FAQ Business Training
The mission of FAQ Business Training is to educate and empower small business owners to do it yourself (DIY) or learn to outsource with confidence, through providing quality topical short training courses.
Jane recognises small business owners are time-poor so sessions are kept specific and manageable, and will in some cases build on prior learnings.
DIY involves understanding why and how to do something, whereas outsourcing is about knowing enough to know the questions to ask and the methods to monitor effective implementation.
Lifelong learner
Jane is constantly seeking out new training and updating her own skills so all our training is kept up-to-date. Jane has formal qualifications including a Master of Applied Finance, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), Cert IV in Small Business Management, Cert IV in Business and Personal Coaching as well as many short courses, workshops and informal training herself. Jane is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with International Coaching Federation (ICF), a CoachHub Certified (Executive) Coach, DISC accredited, and a Herrmann Certified Practitioner (HBDI® Profiles).
Background
Jane worked at McDonald's as a Shift Manager and Training Manager during her original BCA university degree. Following that she entered into the corporate world primarily in investment analytics, and related sales, customer service and reporting functions.
Jane has been involved in volunteering since she was six years old, and in some of her volunteering roles, she has been a board and committee member involved in organisational strategy.
Jane has also been involved in various small business ventures, as well as being a NSW (Australia) Government funded Business Connect Advisor supporting 2000+ clients directly over 9 years. She also works with the big end of town too, as an Executive Coach with CoachHub. Jane loves helping action-taking small business owners who do it right, to do it right, succeed and grow their businesses.
